From I-77, take I-277 (Exit 18) which becomes Bull Street into Columbia. Turn right onto Hampton Street. Go one block. Church is on the left at 1306 Hampton Street.
From: I-26 (From Spartanburg/Greenville)
From I-26, take I-126 which becomes Elmwood Avenue into Columbia. Turn right on Marion Street. Travel five blocks to Hampton Street. Church on is the corner of Marion and Hampton.
From I-20 (From Florence)
From I-20, take I-277 which becomes Bull Street into Columbia. Turn right onto Hampton St. Go one block. Church is on corner of Marion and Hampton
From I-20 (From Augusta)
Take I-20 East to Columbia. Take I-26 East to I-126 East which becomes Elmwood Avenue. Turn right on Marion Street.
From Sumter
Take Hwy 378/76 which becomes Garners Ferry Road and Devine Street. Fork right at Dreher High School onto Millwood Avenue. Turn left onto Gervais Street. Turn right on Marion Street. Go two blocks. Church is on the corner of Hampton and Marion.
From Airport
Take left onto Highway 302. Go several miles. This turns into Knox Abbott Drive and then Blossom Street after crossing the bridge. Take a left onto Assembly Street and a right on Hampton Street. Go three blocks.

We've made parking easy for you!
There is a garage open on the corner of Hampton and Marion Streets. Our sanctuary is located directly across the street from the garage.
Our parking lot on Washington street is reserved for the handicapped and senior adults.

Welcome Desks
As you can see from the image below we have a welcome center inside Boyce Chapel. We are ready to serve you! If it's your first time visiting a Sunday school class, the members at the welcome desk are ready to assist you in finding a class that fits you! Or if you already know which class you'd like to visit, let them know and they can help you find it.
If you're wanting to drop your children off in the Children's Ministry Sunday school area it's located right in front of the parking garage. After parking enter at the blue awning, walk down the stairs, and you'll be at the Children's Welcome desk!

![]() We offer a variety of camp opportunities for elementary-aged children each summer, including Camp LaVida for girls and Camp McCall for boys. Scholarships are available.
Camp LaVida (for girls who have completed 3rd-6th grade)
Dates: June 18-22 is the FBC week
Cost: $200

Camp LaVida also offers Minicamps for girls who have completed 2nd-6th grades and Mother/Daughter Overnights and Minicamps for girls who have completed 1st-3rd grades. Use the link above to find out more about Camp LaVida.
Camp McCall Lad Camp (for boys who have completed 1st-4th grades)
Dates: June 7-9 is the FBC week
Cost: $110
Register in the Children's Ministry office, registration is open as long as spots are available. Dads are encouraged to attend!

CAMPS AT FIRST BAPTIST
Boys 3D Basketball Blast!
JUNE 11-14, 2012, M-Th 2:00PM - 5:00PM
Players will learn the same ball handling, shooting and defensive techniques which are coached at both the collegiate and professional levels across the country. Participants will practice performance improvement drills in various small group settings and then will apply their learned skills as they compete in various individual contests and team game situations. Prizes will be awarded for individual and team accomplishments! The camp will also feature a NCAA Division I college basketball guest speaker!
Instructor: Jason Harman, former college basketball player and owner of 3D Hoops Academy, NCAA certified basketball training company
Cost: $85/player

Worship Arts Camp
JUNE 11-14, 2012, M-F 9:00AM - 12:00PM
Worship Arts Camp is 5 fun-filled days of worship and exploration through music, worship arts, and technical media for rising 1st through 5th graders! Soccer Shots® Camp
JUNE 18-21, 2012, M-Th see below for time
Camp times are divided by age groups. Soccer Shots® sessions are age appropriate and are led by trained Soccer Shots® instructors. The primary objective of each session is to creatively introduce your child to the sport of soccer. Character development, physical development, and fun are guaranteed in this exciting program. Soccer Shots® sessions incorporate the following: basic soccer skills; exclusive Soccer Shots® games; Word of the Day; use of imagination; fun fitness activities and exercises; coordination, balance, and agility development; and character-building lessons.

Upward Basketball Camp for Boys & Girls
JUNE 25-28, 2012, M-Th 9:00AM - 12:00PM
Learn about the fundamentals or get that edge on the next season. Learn more about shooting, dribbling, passing as well as offensive and defensive plays. Bring a snack or money for a snack.
Cost: $50/player (includes camp T-shirt, individual awards, and end-of-camp award)

Digital Photography Camp
JUNE 25-28, 2012, M-Th 1:00PM - 3:00PM
In this four day camp, your camper will learn basic photography skills with a focus on creativity and not being afraid to break “The Rules.” While there will be some technical information, it will be on a kid-friendly level to set the foundation for more advanced learning later. Each child who participates in this camp must have access to a point and shoot digital camera that is functional, has plenty of memory space, and has charged batteries. At the end of the camp, the students will choose one favorite image to be printed for an end of class exhibit for parents.

Junior Golf Clinic
JUNE 26-28, 2012, T-Th 9:30AM - 10:30AM
Golfers should meet at Spring Valley Country Club (300 Spring Valley Rd, Columbia) each day for the clinic. Bring your clubs. Proper golf attire is required (collared shirts preferred and no blue jeans). Day one will focus on putting and short game; day two will be the full swing; and day three we will work on hitting drivers.

Baseball Camp
JULY 9-12, 2012, M-Th 9:00AM - 12:00PM
Special guest coaches are 2 former USC Gamecocks - Jon Coutlangus (former MLB Cincinnati Reds relief pitcher) and Demetric Smith and former Division II Montreat College pitcher Clayon McCathern! Campers will meet at Howard Park (behind Northside Middle School at 200 Cougar Dr, West Columbia) for camp. Your spring season may be over, but hone your skills for fall ball! Every aspect will be covered from hitting, pitching and fielding. Bring your glove, but all other equipment is provided. If you have a preferred bat, bring the bat with you.

Art Camp
JULY 9-12, 2012, M-Th 9:00AM - 12:00PM
Come experience 4 days of fun with arts and crafts. You will see your artistic abilities bloom as you work on a major art project for the entire 4 days, while making a smaller craft each day. On Thursday parents are invited to join us at the end of camp for our art show! All supplies are included.

Manners Club
JULY 23-25, 2012, M-W 9:00AM - 12:00PM
Come be a part of the Manners Club!! We will be learning about The Golden Rule, R-E-S-P-E-C-T, Speaking Skills, Table Manners and much, much more. The kids will come home reminding YOU to keep your elbows off of the table. And just wait until they learn the Interrupting Rule - I promise you will thank us! We will have a fabulous time singing with Judy the Manners Lady, playing games, making crafts and learning proper table skills. Camp is held in the FBC Children’s Center.
